We, the daughters of the soil, the keepers of ancestral wisdom, and the mothers of nations, now stand together across oceans and continents.

From the Caribbean to the Continent, from the mountains of Jamaica to the heart of Ethiopia, we say NO MORE to exclusion, exploitation, and erasure.

We call upon all African women, all Indigenous peoples, and allies of justice to:

Demand Indigenous representation in CARICOM, full recognition of Rastafari spiritual and economic rights, and an end to all human rights violations in Jamaica and across the Diaspora.

We, the undersigned, stand in full solidarity with the call for the formal inclusion of Indigenous Black women—particularly Rastafari, Maroon, and other sovereign African-descended communities—within all levels of CARICOM regional governance and policymaking.

We endorse the following demands:

1. Formal recognition of Indigenous Black women as sovereign stakeholders.

2. Accreditation or observer status for Rastafari and Maroon women leaders at CARICOM meetings.

3. Creation of a Regional Council of Indigenous Women of African Descent.

4. “The intentional inclusion of Indigenous peoples of the African Union’s 6th Region in all levels of economic participation—from grassroots entrepreneurship in our communities, to regional trade alliances, to continental investment and development initiatives.”
