PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT Church Order Boycott of Jamaica’s Hotel Industry

Press Release:

From the Office of Royal Priest Kelly

Haile Selassie I JAH Rastafari Royal Ethiopian Judah Coptic Church

Issued by: The Secretary to Royal Priest Kelly

Date: June 24, 2025

“Let Righteousness Flow Like a Mighty Stream, and Justice Like a River That Never Runs Dry.” – Amos 5:24

To the global Rastafari family, the African Diaspora, freedom-loving peoples, human rights defenders, and all conscientious travelers:

We, the Haile Selassie I JAH Rastafari Royal Ethiopian Judah Coptic Church, under the sacred guidance of Royal Priest Kelly, are issuing this official Public Service Announcement to inform and alert the international community of the grave violations of justice taking place upon the soil of Jamaica — land of Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Leonard Howell, and the Most High JAH Ras Tafari.

We are hereby calling for a Global Boycott of the Jamaican Hotel Industry, effective immediately, until the following demands are met:

WHY WE BOYCOTT

1. Gestapo-Style Policing & Human Rights Violations

The ongoing militarized treatment of poor and marginalized communities — particularly in inner cities and Rastafari strongholds — has reached intolerable levels. Arbitrary detentions, excessive force, and the criminalization of youth amount to state terror.

2. Disrespect & Exclusion of the Indigenous Rastafari Community

Rastafari people, culture, and symbols are commodified for profit, even while the community is denied equitable access to basic human rights, land justice, and voice in governance.

3. Denial of Public Beach Access

Jamaica’s natural heritage — its coastlines and beaches — is increasingly privatized, fenced off, and sold to foreign investors while the children of the land are denied access to the sea that has fed their families for generations.

4. Corruption and Colonial Continuity

The current system continues to reflect and reinforce colonial patterns of exclusion, extraction, and systemic abuse. There has been no meaningful effort to dismantle these structures.

OUR DEMANDS

We call for the immediate:

• Cessation of militarized policing tactics

• Independent international investigation into human rights abuses

• Full public access to all beaches and natural resources

• Formal engagement with Rastafari leadership regarding national reparations, land access, and religious recognition

MESSAGE TO THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY

Until these demands are met with sincere action, we say:

No justice? No tourism.

No access for the people? No profit for the oppressor.

No respect for Rastafari? No rest for Babylon.

We call upon:

• The African Union’s 6th Region representatives

• Pan-African organizations

• Conscious artists, activists, and influencers

• Diasporic communities worldwide

…to stand in solidarity and economic resistance. Redirect your travel plans. Speak out. Share this call. Do not support injustice with your vacation dollars.

FINAL WORDS FROM ROYAL PRIEST KELLY

“Jamaica is not for sale. The beaches, hills, and rivers are the inheritance of the people — not the playgrounds of Babylon. We call on the diaspora to rise up, speak up, and shut it down until justice rolls forth. This is not a threat. It is a divine summons.”

Royal Priest Kelly, Servant of the Most High JAH RASTAFARI
