RasTafari IEWF Cooperative Global Economic Movement Launches During RasTafari Month

Kingston, Jamaica — April 2026
In recognition of RasTafari Month, championed by Priest Wesley Kelly, Royal Priest of the Haile Selassie I JAH RasTafari Royal Ethiopian Judah Coptic Church, a new global economic initiative is being activated to provide a pathway to land ownership and housing for survivors of the greatest crime against humanity- The Trans- Atlantic Slave Trade.
The RasTafari EWF Cooperative Founding Members Investment Group has officially launched its founding phase—marking the beginning of a Cooperative-driven economic system designed for generational impact.
A Movement in Motion
The gathering on Bad Friday, that was called by Priest Kelly, is not a meeting, it is a movement that is structured to begin restoring prisoners of war from the Trans-atlantic Slave Trade-regarded as the GREATEST CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY-which disrupted economic, cultural, and social systems across Africa and the Diaspora.
Rooted in principles of sovereignty, cooperative economics, and cultural continuity, the initiative introduces a structured pathway for RasTafari communities and global supporters to move beyond symbolic reparations into:
• Land ownership
• Housing development
• Enterprise creation
• Cooperative financial systems
The movement formally activates with a RasTafari Month Economic Development Gathering:
Launch Gathering: April 3, 2026 (Bad Friday)
Location: Trench Town Culture Yard, Kingston, Jamaica
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
This founding gathering marks:
• The opening of founding member enrollment
• Live alignment of diaspora and local stakeholders
• Direct entry into the cooperative economic system
